Journal 7

This morning I was running errands and completed the final one only to find I was on entirely the other side of town from my next appointment – picking up Journal 7 from it’s Inscriber. So there was a long car drive sans music (I’d forgotten the stereo front) in which to think some thoughts. I spent a while thinking about other artists who utalise gifting in their practice, of which there are a few I’ve found but I wish I could find more. Do you know of any?

I arrived at the Inscriber’s dwelling, but as you might recall, this Inscriber was off overseas so they’d left the Journal with their partner for me to pick up. I bounded up the stairs and rang the bell and was greeted by a jingling of keys and a soft ‘shalom’ which was a particularly beautiful way to be greeted.

I collected the Journal from their outstretched hand and carefully put it away in a brown paper bag reserved for collecting Journals.
